A potluck dinner with my breakfast club gang closes out the year with a ‘flavor’ bang! Lots of gluten-free fare and fine bourbon cocktails highlighted the evening, just before the ball dropped in Times Square.

Our annual ‘Breakfast Club’ holiday get-together was a bit late this year due to schedule conflicts as well as some illness. Nevertheless, our potluck dinner was a success, largely gluten-free, but not without Manhattans.

A cookout this past weekend to celebrate the Moodster’s birthday and to bid farewell to Steve who’s moving back to Alabama.

Brunch
In lieu of breakfast club, we had brunch at Bonifacio yesterday. Food was on point as usual.
Newest Breakfast Club Member
Josh is an original member of our over-a-decade-old Breakfast Club. Philip is the newest and youngest member. But he really can’t be an ‘official’ member until he owns (and is able to operate) his very own Apple device. It’ll be a while.

You know you've been going to the same place for a long time when it's renovated for a second (maybe third?) time since we first started going. Same place, same good food, same friendly (first name basis) staff, but all new decor, furniture, and service china.
